Coaxial cable is the name of the thick (usually black) cable that carries the
programming signal into your television. This cable is usually identifiable by
the screw-on or push-on plugs at each end. A coaxial splitter is a small unit,
usually only a few inches in lench, that simply splits one signal into two. You
can use a coaxial splitter to hook up two or more TV sets to a single DIRECTV
